Isha Foundation is a non-profit spiritual organization founded by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. It is headquartered in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Isha Yoga Center, located in the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains near Coimbatore, is home to Dhyanalinga. Dhyanalinga is a unique meditative space and energy center created by Sadhguru. The Isha Yoga Center is also home to the Adiyogi Shiva statue, which is considered the largest bust sculpture of Shiva in the world. Perur Pateeswarar Temple, also known as Perur Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Perur, a suburb of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, India. Perur Pateeswarar Temple is situated on the banks of the Noyyal River in Perur, which is about 7 kilometers west of the central part of Coimbatore. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, worshipped in the form of Pateeswarar. The presiding deity is known for his significance and divine presence. The temple exhibits traditional South Indian Dravidian architecture. The intricate carvings, sculptures, and towering gopurams (entrance towers) are notable features of the temple. The temple complex has several gopurams, including the famous Kanaka Sabha Gopuram. The Kanaka Sabha, or Golden Hall, is a significant structure within the temple premises. The Kanaka Sabha Mandapam is an assembly hall within the temple known for its beautiful sculptures and artistic pillars. It is believed to be a venue for celestial gatherings. The temple celebrates the annual Panguni Uthiram festival with great fervor. The festival attracts devotees from various parts of the region. There is a separate shrine dedicated to Lord Nataraja, a form of Lord Shiva in the cosmic dance pose. The Nataraja shrine is an important part of the temple complex. The temple conducts regular puja (worship) and rituals. Devotees visit the temple to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva for well-being and prosperity. Perur Pateeswarar Temple has a rich historical and cultural significance, and it is considered one of the ancient temples in the region. A large Nandi (sacred bull), the mount of Lord Shiva, is positioned in front of the sanctum sanctorum.
