About Kumara Parvatha Trek
Coorg, the paradisaical destination of the Western Ghats, is a beautiful place abound with many beauties of nature. One amongst them is Kumar Parvatha, which, at 1,712m, is the second highest peak in Coorg and the sixth in Karnataka. Located at the edge of Coorg and Dakshina Kannada, this towering peak is a part of the scenic Pushpagiri range of the Western Ghats and is nestled away amidst lush and verdant jungles. Consumption of alcohol, intoxicants and smoking would not be tolerated during the entire course of the journey and the trek. Kindly co-operate with us to make the experience more fun.

The trek ideally is not recommended for beginners, as the terrain is tough and requires a minimum level of fitness. You should be able to at least run for about 5 km within 30-45 minutes.

Well, if a beginner attempts this trek, we won’t let you down but kindly make sure about your fitness and let the trek leaders know about the same.

Do not expect any luxuries on the trip. The locations that we host are at remote places and we do our best to arrange the basic facilities. The goal is to be outdoors.

The Food that shall be provided will be Basic Veg Food. We do not serve Non-Veg Food.

Put Litter in its place, do not trash your travel.

Plan The Unplanned shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewellery etc. Kindly do take care.

In the case of traffic delays or breakdowns, expect a little delay in reaching the destination.

All participants must carry their backpacks, tents, sleeping bags and eateries even if they are provided by the organizers.

Damages made to the gears provided will have to be borne by the participants, Laundry charges Rs. 200/- if stains are made.

We request you all to participate in the pitching of tents, arranging of campfire etc.
