This cable car, known as the Auli Ropeway or Auli-Joshimath Ropeway, is one of the longest ropeways in Asia. The Auli Ropeway covers a distance of about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) and takes approximately 25 minutes to travel from Auli to Joshimath or vice versa. The ropeway offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains, forests, and the beautiful landscape. It's not only a means of transportation but also a scenic experience in itself.. Near the upper station of the ropeway, there is an artificial lake that is used to generate artificial snow.
