The Kadri Manjunath Temple is one of the oldest temples in the coastal city of Mangalore. The primary deity of the temple is Lord Manjunatha, a form of Lord Shiva. The presiding deity is a Shiva Linga, and devotees from the region and beyond visit the temple to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Lord Manjunatha. The temple features a distinctive South Indian Dravidian architectural style. The intricate carvings, colorful sculptures, and towering gopurams (temple towers) showcase the artistic and architectural brilliance of the region.
