Kidangam Parambu Temple is a great Goddess temple located in Alapuzzha . The presence of the mighty goddess Sree Bhuvaneeswari Devi makes the temple radiant and lustrous. The temple was built by Marthanda Verma on his way to attack Cochin ,when the land belonging to this temple was accidentally desecrated by his soldiers. The temple was underground and built to prominence again . Walls are depicted beautifully by Krishna charitram in the form of statues.
