Kote Betta, meaning "Fort Hill," is the third-highest peak in Coorg (Kodagu), Karnataka, rising to about 1,620 meters above sea level. Nestled amidst the Western Ghats near Madikeri and Somwarpet, this lush green mountain offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and mythology. The hill is believed to have been visited by the Pandavas during their exile, and local legends say that Lord Shiva once meditated here.
