Rhine Falls

Rhine Falls (Rheinfall in German) is located near the town of Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland. It is about 47 kilometers (29 miles) north of Zurich. Rhine Falls is the largest waterfall in Europe in terms of water volume. The falls are formed on the High Rhine where the river descends over a series of rocks.
