Shanti Falls is Nestled amidst the lush green surroundings of the Chikmagalur district is the absolutely stunning Shanti Falls which is a natural wonder. The waterfall is located at a distance of around 55 km from the town of Chikmagalur in Karnataka. The water cascades down from the top of a hill and reaches the valley below thereby forming a spellbinding view against the fantastic backdrop of the exuberant greenery. The waterfall is on the way towards the Z Point and attracts several trekkers from far and wide. the beauty of the falls attracts visitors and trekkers alike who often treat the place as a stopover before resuming their journey towards Z-Point that is situated about 2 km from the waterfall. These waterfalls experience relatively less footfall from tourists. Hence, visit these to witness pristine and modest waterfalls and streams with lush greenery all around.  The most interesting fact about this waterfall is that its water remains extremely cold even during the hot summer months. Visitors can enjoy a swim in the cool waters of the Shanti Falls. Chikmagalur (known officially as Chikkamagaluru in its anglicised form), is a city and the headquarters of Chikmagalur district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Located on the foothills of the Mullayanagiri peak of the Western Ghaats, the city attracts tourists from around the state for its pleasant and favourable hill station climate, tropical rainforest, and coffee estates.
