Sirattai Pillaiyar Kovil (Sirattai Vinayagar Temple), Tirunelveli resides in the heart of Rehmath Nagar East near Kamaraj Nagar in Tirunelveli. This historic temple, believed to be as ancient as the famed Nellaiappar Temple, dates back to the 1800s and has received significant renovations over time .

The temple houses twin idols of Lord Ganesha, both with their trunks turned to the right, a rare and auspicious form. Legend says Sage Agastya installed the deity here while passing through Tirunelveli to witness Lord Shiva and Uma’s divine wedding.These twin idols—known as "Sirattai" Ganeshas—are revered as guardians of Tirunelveli and are believed to grant devotees—especially childless couples—swift blessings and the fulfillment of wishes .

A notable ritual—the coconut miracle—occurs here: when devotees break a coconut as an offering, the shell and kernel separate perfectly, which is considered an auspicious sign. This phenomenon is widely credited as the source of the temple’s name and draws believers seeking success and solutions .
