Wat Traimit

Wat Traimit is situated in the heart of Bangkok's Chinatown, near the intersection of Yaowarat Road and Traimit Road. The main attraction of Wat Traimit is the Golden Buddha, a statue made of pure gold. The Golden Buddha is considered one of the most significant and valuable Buddha images in the world. The Golden Buddha was originally cast in the Sukhothai style of the 13th to 14th centuries.
